Glass Lewis have issued their 2024 Proxy Voting Guidelines for UK companies.

To ensure investors are getting a complete and accurate picture of a company’s ESG performance and how it relates to strategy, companies need to facilitate how they provide data consumed by both investors and data providers.

Shareholders have largely been very supportive of new policy proposals although changes proposed have been relatively minor.  

Areas of focus for the 2023 AGM season concern base salary increases, windfall gains and the use of ESG measures in incentives.
